Visually Impaired - Slide
- We are going to try combining these two elements light and colour in our signage so that they will look nice and appealing for visitors, also they will look much more professional.
- We are going to test some different light inside the school corridors to see how the light colour will look on the walls.
- The outside signage can be made by ourselves and we can also bring some help from the workshop students. We can use wood material for this type of signage where we can get the wood from the workshop at school.
Routes - Slide
- Mark had started in planning different routes ideas then myself together with Jessica we continued in planning routes.
- We would like people to follow our routes so that we don't have confusion during the opening night and also to guide them to the exhibition rooms.
- We want to control people from where to pass with a good route.
- In the 3 main corridors inside the school we are trying to have a one direction route so there would not be people who is going left and people who is going right.
Visually Impaired - Slide
- At the beginning we have discussed that with every signage there would also be braille signage, but from the meeting we have discovered that not everyone knows how to read braille.
- From the meeting we have discovered that the best solution for visually impaired people would be best to used non-slip tape on the floor. The non-slip tape has to be of different texture from the floor for them to feel while their walking.
- We are still looking from where we can buy this material.
